About San Francisco Energy Watch

The City and County of San Francisco's Department of Environment has joined with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to deliver energy-efficiency services and incentives to qualifying commercial customers and multifamily building owners.

Below is an overview of the programs offered through San Francisco Energy Watch:

• Commercial Plus Program

  Program staff is available for no-cost, on-site energy surveys and will provide recommendations for low-cost, energy-efficient improvements for your business or facility. Common opportunities for improvements include interior and exterior lighting, refrigeration improvements, advanced controls, computer network efficiency, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) improvements.

  • Small Business Direct Install Program

    Small businesses qualify for Full Turnkey Services beginning with a free energy assessment and followed by full project management through completion of the installation by a contractor assigned by the program. Energy efficient upgrades include interior, exterior and high-bay lighting, LED exit signs, lighting controls, refrigeration controls, strip curtain, and door gasket replacements.

• Multifamily Plus Program

  Qualifying multifamily building owners can receive free full-building energy efficiency audits (both common and residential spaces) and low- and no- cost installation of efficiency measures such as lighting, vending machine controls, and refrigerator recycling.
